The countdown

On July 29 I'll be flying to Hawaii for the island missionary orientation. I'm excited that Riki will be going with me at least that far, and I'm even more excited that John Stewart is coming to Pohnpei with me. This week has been very bittersweet for me, probably more bitter actually. I've had to say goodbye to so many people that I will probably never see again. I've never had to do that before, and it's not fun, at all. Hopefully as I begin to plan what to pack and prepare for leaving I will be more excited. I know this is what I want to do, and I feel that I'm very ready for an adventure and a challenge, but it is still scary and hard. Keep me in your prayers!
